Raphanus raphanistrum ssp raphanistrum Wild Radish C DD N?
This is one of those crucifers which can be difficult to identify in flower. The flowers can be pale yellow like this one or mauve or white and all these colours are fairly common. Like many in this family, the positive identification comes from the fruit (RHS).
Raphanus raphanistrum ssp raphanistrum is found in most parts of England, much of Wales except for the hilly centre and coastal or lowland Scotland more in the east than wets but it is found on the Hebridean Islands. It is only common in the south of Ireland.
