Ranunculus glacialis Glacier Crowfoot
With its thick, almost succulent leaves and large bright white flowers there is no mistaking this beautiful member of the Ranunculus genus. It can be found in the Scandinavian mountains as well as the Pyrenees and the Alps. As its name suggests it will grow amongst rocks and moraines of glaciers and so is found at heights of up to 14,000 feet.
