Pyracantha coccinea Firethorn I
This introduced garden shrub which produces red berries in late Summer and Autumn is visited by many birds who then spread the seed to wild places where it flourishes. Pyracantha coccinea is seen throughout England but there is little of it found in Wales, Scotland or Ireland.
