Potentilla fruticosa Shrubby Cinquefoil RRR DDD N
Potentilla fruticosa has been recorded from various places dotted all over England but this is most probably because it is used as a garden plant which then escapes inot the wild. The native P. fruticosa occurs on the banks of the Tees, on The Burren and in two other sites in Ireland in County Mayo and North Galway. On the Burren and on the banks of the river Tees it is locally abundant but nationally the native shrub is a rarity.
