Pedicularis rosea Pink Lousewort
Louseworts are hemi-parasitic so it was a little surprising to find this healthy plant growing on stony ground with little other vegetation nearby. Pedicularis rosea is mostly found in the Alps, in Italy and France. It prefers limestone habitats and can be found up to heights of 7,500 feet.
