Papaver rhaeticum Rhaetian Alps Poppy
Also known as Papaver aurantiacum and The Engadine Poppy, it is present in small numbers in the southern part of the Swiss Alps only. The stony terrain where we found it flourishing is typical of the habitat it prefers often just below the snow line.
