Oxalis articulata Pink-sorrel DD I
This introduction from the Americas has escaped from gardens and quite likes habitats near the sea. It isn't easy to separate the pink sorrels but this one has orange warts at the leaf margins which you can just about see in the photo. O. articulata also a horizontal rhizome rather than clumps of bulbils which O. debilis (also a Pink Sorrel) has.
O articulata is often coastal and is found very often in southern and Eastern England. It is uncommon in Scotland central Wales and Ireland except for the east.
