Ornithogalum arcuatum Arabian Starflower
Also known by the gloriously unpronounceable name of Ornithogalum shelkovnikovii and occasionally as Loncomlelos shelkovnikovii, this beautiful little plant was found in ones and twos in the hills near Lake Van. It is native in Turkey, Iraq, Iran and the trans Caucasus countries.
