Muscari neglectum Grape-hyacinth RRR DD N
You may well have seen a Grape-hyacinth in the countryside somewhere but unless you go to the right places it will invariably be the garden variety M. armeniacum. This one is the rare native species and is found in only a few places mostly in East Anglia where it grows on grassy banks and in amongst trees in dappled shade.
