In a little visited patch of scrubby bush, this Melaleuca species with small densely packed leaves was growing in rather shady conditions. It is quite common in this southern region of Western Australia and is found from around Margaret River to Albany and nearly as far as Esperance both on the coast an miles inland too. The flowers can be cream pale yellow or even a whitish greeny colour.
