Leucanthemum x superbum Shasta Daisy DDD I
This plant looks like an Oxeye daisy but is taller, the leaves are a bit less toothed and the flowers are very obviously larger. It is an introduction probably initially from gardens which has established itself very well in the countryside.
L. x superbum has established itself throughout the English and Welsh countryside but becomes much scarcer as you go north with patches of higher frequency as you would expect, around the areas of good population density. It is scarce in Ireland.
