Lampranthus roseus Rosy Dewplant C DD I
An introduction to the Channel Islands from South Africa, this along with other similar species like Carpobrotus ssp have covered some of the rocks near the coast and inland parts as well. Colourful though they are, they don't let native plants grow amongst them and are now considered a nuisance species by naturalists but are still well-loved by tourists.
