Lambertia inermis   Chittick Endemic

Lambertia inermis whole Lambertia inermis close

We first found this beautiful member of the Proteaceae family while driving through the Stirling Range quite close to where we were staying. Here the flowers were yellow. The second site was at Tozer's Bush block where at first I thought they may be a different species of Lambertia. They are usually yellow, orange or red,

Lambertia inermis is quite common from Albany north to Wickepin and east to Esperance.
