Jacksonia quairading Quairading Stinkwood Rare Endemic
There are a number of species or genera around the world which go by the common name of Stinkwood and each is a woody plant with an unpleasant odour. There are about 46 species of Jacksonia published and some, including this rare and endangered plant which have only recently been described. There were very few blooms on this shrub and on this visit to the huge (527 hectares) Quairading reserve we found only one plant.
