Hovea elliptica   Tree Hovea Endemic

Hovea elliptica whole Hovea elliptica close

This is a striking plant which can often as tall as a small tree - hence the common name. We often found it in forest shade but the one on the roadside verge was in open rough gravel. It is a species common only in the very far south west cormer of Australia.
