Grevillea yorkrakinensis No English name Endemic
This is a prostrate shrub with orange or red flowers named after the place first found: Yorkrakine, which is a small town north east of Merredin in the weatbelt. At first glance the leaves look needle shaped but are actually simple, narrow and with curled-under (revolute) margins. Together with the mucronate tip this makes the leaves look spiky. G. yorkrakinensis is not uncommon and found inland in a strip from just south of Geraldton to north east of Esperance.
