Gompholobium tomentosum    Hairy Yellow Pea Endemic

Gompholobium tomentosum whole Gompholobium tomentosum close

Described as erect in Florabase, this was a low growing, perhaps young shrub, with slightly hairy leaves (phylloclades) and attractive, uniformly yellow coloured flowers. The calyces were very hairy with patent hairs.

Gompholobium tomentosum is quite common with records from Shark Bay south down the coastal Plain throughout the far south west corner and east along the southern coast to Esperance.
