Galium uliginosum Fen Bedstraw C DD N
This is a tall straggly Bedstraw which is rough to the touch because of the downturned prickles on the corners of the stems. The leaves end in a small point (mucronate) and are one-veined. The flowers are a few millimetres across and can be quite numerous.
Galium uliginosum is found throughout the British Isles but records decrease in frequency in the far north.
