There was very little of this plant to be seen although it was expected. I hadn't seen it before and when someone suggested that it might be the rare F. densiflora I was unconvinced and didn't photograph it. Later the more careful botanists in our group ran it through the key to find that it was indeed the sought after fumitory, so I dashed back with the camera.

This plant has a peculiar distribution being mostly found in southern east England and the lowlands of Scotland with some sites up near Inverness. There is a little in Ireland and Wales but not much.
