This is an arable field weed in this part of Cheshire and I see it most often after the crop has been harvested and the weeds begin to grow amongst the stubble. In the photo it is climbing up a small stick of stubble.

F. convolvulus is common throughout England and Wales and southern plus north eastern Scotland. It is common in Ireland particularly in the east.
