Erigeron glaucus   Seaside Daisy C DD I

Erigeron glaucus

This North American introduction has escaped, in my opinion, far further than Stace suggests. I see this so often near the seaside that I would be disappointed not to find a naturalised clump somewhere growing out of a wall, rocks or in dunes.

This alien has spread mostly to sites along the south coast of England but is also found inland as well. There are a few sites on the coast of Wales and even fewer in Scotland and Ireland.
