Epilobium palustre whole Epilobium palustre close

Growing mostly in boggy ground and sometimes actually in the water this plant has long lanceolate leaves and a delicate pink flower with a club shaped stigma. E. palustre has been recorded from almost everywhere in the British Isles and Ireland with a very few exceptions near the Fen country in England.
