Dryandra shanklandiorum No English name Rare (Category 4) Endemic
Now known as Banksia shanklandiorum, this plant is only found in a small area of the Wheat belt in south western Australia. Although rare it is not thought to be under threat at the moment. The distinctive large disc shaped flowers, glaucous leaves new shoots of which are deep red in colour and the upright shape of the shrub which can be more than 2m in height, are characterstsic of this rare plant.
