Cyclamen persicum Persian Sowbread
There were very few of these plants to be seen in flower at this time of year because they normally flower much earlier. The heart shaped leaves and the flower with a deep purple/red tip are typical. C. persicum has been used to develop cultivars which florists use in their flower arrangements.
