Crassula tillaea Crassula tillaea close

Many Spring plants and their flowers are small but this little plant can be overlooked even when you are on your hands and knees. It's always an indication that the plant is very small when the photograph shows the grains of sand.

C. tillaea has a strange distribution being common in East Anglia, the Hampshire region of the southern counties of England, the south west with very little to be found elsewhere until you go as far north as Inverness and the Black Isle. There is little in Wales or Ireland.
