The exact name of this plant is uncertain. The latest Stace give it as Delphinium orientale but PlantList 1.1, which hasn't been updated in recent years, says it is Consolida orientalis. The Turkish botanists still have it as Consolida orientalis so that will do for now. It is quite a common plant, found all over Europe and in Scndinavia and the near east.
