Conospermum flexuosum Tangled Smokebush Endemic

This is one of those plants that puzzles you even at genus level when you get close to it. But when you get nearer the hazy look reminds you of the varied morphology of the Conospermum genus. As with many Western Australian plants, the leaves are no more than cladodes and branch in all directions, giving the "Tangled" look of the common name.
Conospermum flexuosum is found south of Mandurah, with largest numbers of records south of Bunbury down to Augusta with only a few in the area where this one was found.
