Cochlearia micacea

This isn't a plant you can automatically expect to find in the Corrie so we started looking for it in the flushes just below the saddle between Ben Lawers and Beinn Ghlas. The examples we found were quite small but there were none to be found until a height of over 900 metres. One of the fruits is in the bottom left of the photo.

C. micacea is confined to a few mountains in the highlands of Scotland.
