On the way back from seeing the Oxytropis halleri (Purple Oxytropis) we saw a flock of small wading birds busying themselves quite close to where we were walking so I too a quick snap and you can see that the Ringed Plovers were accompanied by the longer billed Dunlin (Calidris alpina) .
