Centaurium tenuiflorum Branched Centaury
Found throughout the Mediterranean and towards eastern countries like Israel, this annual plant will grow in Garrigue (Phrygana in Greece) habitats but also is found in much dryer deserts and scrubs. It has distinctly narrower petals than Centaurium erythraea (Common Centaury) and the white centre of the flower is more prominent. It is also known as Slender Centaury but that name is usually associated with Centaurium pulchellum.
