Campanula poscharskyarna   Trailing Bellflower DD I

Campanula poscharskyarna whole Campanula poscharskyarna whole

This is an introduction or garden escape originally from the Balkans which appears pretty regularly in the wild in positions where it can neither have been planted nor grown from a chuck-out. The star shaped flowers and long trailing stems are the diagnostics.

It has successfully escaped into much of lowland England and Wales but there is little in Scotland or Ireland.
