Caladenia discoidea Dancing Spider Orchid Endemic
This endemic orchid is common in the south west of Australia and immediately stands out as different from many of the other Spider Orchids because the labellum is so much larger than the two short, wide, yellow, lower petals. It prefers sandy soils and woodland but is uncommon in the very south west corner because of the much higher rainfall.
It is known also as Bee Orchid and Antelope Orchid.
