Boronia adamsiana Barbalin Boronia Endemic
It must seem slightly strange to see that a plant is published on this site from a photo taken on an expedition nineteen years ago but this one remained in my "Unidentified Plants" file for nearly two decades.
Asking for help on the Western Australian Wild Flower Society's group page yielded information which led to the realisation that this was Boronia adamsiana which is a threatened species of Boronia found only in a fairly small region of the Wheat Belt north and east of Perth. It was not on our list of plants for this area (we were on a week long Wild Flower Society tour) but I suspect that our rather large group (20 plus people) might have caused too much damage if it was highlighted. I was new to the Western Australian Flora and simply photographed everything I saw which had a flower.
What a find after all these years!
