Aurinia saxatilis Golden Alison
This was one of the commonest plants in the area giving a splash of yellow to the hillside meadows. It is the wild relation of the common garden plant cultivar. It is native to central Europe and surprsingly there isn't much in Italy but the Gargano is one place it grows well. As a garden esacpe, it is naturalised mostly in western Britain
