Atriplex prostrata Spear-leaved Orache C DD N
This very variable plant is found on sea shore and inland but can be either erect or prostrate. It tends to go redder with age.
There is hardly any stretch of coastline in all the British Isles without some of this plant present and it grows extensively inland in England too.
