Astragalus lusitanicus ssp orientalis Oriental Shrub Milk-vetch
This is quite a large plant which was obvious even from a car window and in some places covered the hillside. ssp orientalis has hairs on the upper parts of the leaves but all subspecies can be up to 1 metre tall. Ssp orientalis is known from Greek Peloponnese, and Turkey as well as Cyprus.
