Antennaria carpatica Carpathian Catsfoot
While the more commonly encountered Mountain Everlasting (Antennaria diocia) spreads with stolons and has white or pink flowers, this species has no runners and only brown or dull white flowers. It is found in damp, rocky places at heights of betwenn 5,000 feet and 10,000 feet in the Alps, Pyrenees and the mountains of Scandinavia.
