Anigozanthos flavidus Tall Kangaroo Paw Endemic
It was almost impossible to get a sensible photo of this whole plant because it is very tall with long branches and relatively small flowering parts at the end. The ones in this Photograph were a little above 2 metres tall but it can be as tall as 3 metres. The flowers themselves though are typical Anigozanthos structures with the comb-like anthers just above a delicate stigma. This is quite a common plant but restricted to a band of south western Australia from Margaret River to just beyond Albany but not as far north as Perth.
