Androsace carnea Rock Jasmine
Androsace are small arctic alpine plants found in rocky places or on screes usually in northern mountains but also in the Alps and the Pyrenees. Members of the Primulaceae, they are popular with alpine gardeners because they flourish at low altitudes producing cushions covered in flowers.
