Allium triquetrum Three-cornered Leek I
In Guernsey Allium triquetrum is the commonest flowering plant seen on the lanes which are lined with white flowers in April in a similar way that English country lanes can be lined with Anthriscus sylvestris (Cow Parsley) in May.
This West Mediterranean introduction is quite common where it likes the climate and conditions and so has colonised much of the south of England and Ireland but is commonly found in the north west and north Wales too.
