Actinodium cunninghamii Albany Daisy Endemic
Also known as Swamp Daisy this species is often found in winter-wet depressions or damp hollows. We first saw it in very swampy land on the way to Bremer Bay from Manjimup but I only recognised as an unknown species (to me) and hadn't time to photograph it. Once in the region of Fitzgerald River National Park, we found several colonies in both the National Park and Tozer's Bush block.
It has a strange distribution. While most sites are around Albany as the common name suggests, there are a few in the west near Bunbury and Busselton, some around Mount Roe, a few in and around Tone-Peru nature reserve and then some in the east around Fitzgerald River National Park.
