Achillea oxyloba Alpine Sneezewort
Found in the south eastern Alps, Apennines and Carpathian mountains this alpine perennial, member of the Asteraceae family prefers basic (limestone) soils and can be found from heights of between 5,000 feet and 9,00 feet. There are two sub species: ssp mucronulata which is only found in the Apennines and ssp schurii which is found only in the Carpathians.
