Stace Vol 2 is not very clear on how he classifies the V. spicata in Western Britain of which the above is an example, but now appears to attribute the RRR rating to all UK plants. There is a great deal of this plant on the Orme and although plants can be nationally rare and locally frequent you don't usually find the RRR rating attached to such distributions but who am I to argue?
