Veronica scutellata   Marsh Speedwell C DD N

Veronica scutellata

The narrow leaves of the Marsh Speedwell and the whitish, lilac or pale pinkish flowers are characteristic. Unsurprisingly I usually find it in marshy ground and this was at the edge of stream which had dried in the drought of past weeks.
