Onobrychis cornuta Horned Sainfoin
This plant grows in almost perfect semi-circular mounds and at this site there were thousands of such clumps all over the hillsides. It tends to grows on north slopes of rocky stony slopes in the uplands of Syria, Iran, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey.
