Onobrychis aequidentata
In the rain sodden fields of the Gargano we occasionally saw and trod on a low growing pea plant (a Sainfoin) with small red flowers which turned out to be Onobrychis aequidentata.
O. aequidentata is found in Spain and the Balkans as well as Italy.
