Ben Lawers Corrie
This is the view of the approach to the Corrie on Ben Lawers where the largest number of a rare and beautiful alpines can be found in the British Isles. There are many mountains in Scotland and a few in England and Wales where alpines can be found but nowhere in such numbers and variety as this place. On this day the temperature was above 25 Celsius which isn't just unusual for Lawers but bordering the impossible. All the flowers were out and at their best.
