Flowers of this species of Violet can be white, pink, violet, yellow or even bicoloured. It tends to have narrow petals as in the photos and is found in Italy from the Gargano southwards in Italy and in Greece. It is considered an alpine plant in Greece where it typically flowers from 5,000 feet to 7,500 feet in the mountains.
