It was too early in the year to see the interesting thing about this plant which are the exserted pink anthers but you can see a hint of pink in the tight buds. The plant is named after Nikolaus Joseph Freiherr von Jacquin an 18th century Dutch scientist who studied chemistry medicine and botany.
