Euphobia exigua   Dwarf Spurge C DD N

Euphorbia exigua whole Euphorbia exigua close

E. exigua which normally grows no more than 25 or cm tall, is usually found as an arable weed and this is exactly the case at this site where the farmland has been managed by old fashioned (i.e. no herbicides) methods allowing the usual arable weeds to flourish.

It is common in the south east and central parts of England but is much less common in the north west and Wales. E. exigua is uncommon in both Scotland and Ireland.
